Help us imagine the Hakka youth fire dragon. The fire dragon dance is a traditional ritual of Hakka people around the world.

What does it mean to activate and continue the fire dragon ritual as Hakka diaspora on Turtle Island in Coast Salish territories in Saltwater City?

Join Hakka youth, elders, and allies to imagine and co-create a Hakka Youth Fire Dragon that we will bring to life and dance together on September 27, 2026.

Share your ideas in the form below or in person at 客家 HAKKA HOUSE during opening hours. Join us in person for a collective imagining session on August 1, 2026 to dream and design our collective expression of this Hakka tradition together. All ages welcome.
