Help us imagine the Hakka youth fire dragon. The fire dragon dance is a traditional ritual of Hakka people around the world.

Join Hakka youth, elders, and allies to imagine and co-create a Hakka Youth Fire Dragon that we will bring to life and dance together on September 27, 2026.

We will incorporate the ideas we receive into the final design of the dragon. The dragon will be built during August and September with events leading up to and on the day of the dragon dance on Sunday, September 27, 2026 in Vancouver Chinatown. All ages welcome.
